Dr. Priya Kumar, MD, brings a wealth of hands-on experience from her tenure at Bowring & Lady Curzon Hospital in Bangalore. After serving as a resident there for three years, she took a leap and established her own practice, Shraddha Healthcare & Nursing, located in Koramangala’s 1st block in Bangalore, way back in 2004. Over the past 18 years, she has undertaken numerous responsibilities in the field of women’s health.
Dr. Priya Kumar specializes in the comprehensive care of women, encompassing preconception care, pregnancy, antenatal checkups, and providing essential guidance throughout the nine months of pregnancy and delivery process. In addition to her private practice, she is affiliated with various corporate hospitals in the area and accommodates women patients who prefer those facilities for delivery or surgeries.
Every case and patient is approached with utmost care and responsibility, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of conditions affecting women. Dr. Priya Kumar encourages and supports women in opting for normal vaginal delivery, always under her undivided attention. However, if the need arises, she performs C-section/LSCS surgical deliveries to ensure safe confinement.
MTP is conducted primarily through medication, prioritizing patient safety and avoiding any risks or complications associated with procedures. Dr. Priya Kumar also provides extensive counseling and encourages the adoption of various preventive methods.
In 2012, Dr. Priya Kumar completed a course in infertility from Nova Speciality Hospitals and received a certificate in Intrauterine Insemination (IUI). Since then, she has successfully helped numerous couples conceive through this procedure.
Family planning surgeries, laparoscopic surgeries for women’s reproductive system, and hysterectomies are all performed with great care, resulting in patient satisfaction and their joy in achieving a cure.
